Esra is a only child of Cara and Brian Higgins. He was born in Ireland on a farm. But tragically his dad died in an accident when he 6 and his mom and him moved to England. He still dosen't know the exact details about his fathers accident, her mom doesn't really wanna talk about it.
His mom's mental health quickly got very bad. She began to see things which led her to using drugs to try and numb it all. This also made her a very difficult mom - not that she was mean by heart - she really tried, but Esra was'nt exactly the easiest child either, he had quite the temper and he did'nt get along with most kids because he was always so angry.
When he was 13 years old, he discovered that when he looked people in the eyes, they got an urge to him, like a desire or an interest in him - which really was'nt something he liked, he had always been a loner and he liked to keep things private - so to suddenly get some very unwanted interest did'nt please him well. This also led him to a very sad first experience with sex. This only made him even more alone, since he never looked people in the eyes - or always looked like a douchebag with sunglasses..
Of course he did'nt know that this gift of his, was just a way to help him charm people to tell him things, to befriend people and make them trust him - but when you could'nt control it at all, it just blasted off at highest power to anyone getting in touch with it - making it more a curse than a blessing. In fear of ending up like his mentally ill mother who had ruined herself with drugs, he hid the gift away..
But beside all of this, he did get a few close friends over time - someone who accepted his weirdness and temper.. someone seeing that Esra could be quite the charmer and friend.
